This picture was taken of me and my grandpa with shadow behind him. To us the shadow figure slightly resembles my grandmother who had just passed away a few months before. This is not a typical shadow and we are seeking your opinion.

First of all Tony is right, this is not a typical shadow. It is not the shadow of the man because his shadow would stop at the end of the wall (corner). And it's most likely not a living person because it appears to be too narrow of a passive for a person to squeeze by behind him. So in other words, unless a person could actually squeeze by, I would have to consider it supernatural.
