This is a ghost in the now tore down Clinton Valley Center/Pontiac St. Asylum in Pontiac Michigan. I took a photo of a hallway in the basement tunnels reported to have a shock treatment room from the late 1800's where they shackled the inmates and hosed them with ice water as some sort of treatment. It was probably bricked over as an embarrassment in the 20th century. When I developed the film this image was there. I lightened the area where the ghost image appeared.

"READ BEFORE OPENING THE PHOTO... The young man in this photo visited a historic site in Georgia called Fort Mountain with his friends and he asked them to take his photo while hiking. While his friend took the photo, he screamed and fainted. Then 2 days later he died in the hospital. The doctors said he died from a heart attack.

We wanted to share this interesting picture with your readers. In August of 2007 my wife and I went to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose. The attached picture was taken with our digital camera a little after 1 pm. This was taken in the room named the "25,000 Dollar room", that contained a lot of unused decorations and stained-glass windows. While scrolling thought the pictures I noticed something different. To the left of the white post in the middle of the picture is the shadow of someone or something wearing a hat.

The Old Slave House (Hickory Hill), Junction, IL

The Hickory Hill mansion was built in 1842 by a wealthy man, John Hart Crenshaw, who owned several salt tracts. Although it was illegal to own slaves in Illinois at this time, it was legal to lease slaves from other states to work in the salt mines.

Crenshaw imprisoned slaves, some of whom were kidnapped, in the attic of the mansion in narrow cells and manacles. He reportedly tortured and beat the slaves for many years, and also "bred" his own slaves, until eventually his cruel practices were discovered and he retired to become a farmer.

In the 1920s, the house was opened as a tourist attraction where slavery existed in Illinois, however tourists began reporting sounds of people crying and moaning coming from the attic, cold chills, and whispers. Things intensified when a ghost hunter named Hickman Whittington went to the attic shortly after it opened and spent a few hours there. Though he was in perfect health at the time, he died a few hours after leaving the mansion.

Reportedly, hundreds of people tried to spend the night in the attic after Whittington's death, but would leave, terrorized, before morning (one man did finally spend the night there in 1978, and reported strange sounds).

Currently, the Hickory Hills mansion is owned by the state of Illinois, and is scheduled to open as a historic site (but has not yet re-opened to visitors). In the mean time this house is a haunted place.

This photo was taken in the attic at my workplace (a restaurant which used to be a house and a theater) there are quite a few close encounters by the staff with ghosts in the last 10 years.....but now, finally, we have captured something on film. We believe this to be a shadow ghost that is haunting the restaurant where I work.

My friend and I were hearing noises in his house one night. The sounds were coming from the kitchen, so we went down there and found cabinet doors open, which we found odd. Well on the way back to our rooms I was trying to send a text message but couldn’t for some reason. So we stood there trying to figure out what was going on with the phone when we heard another door open. We looked up and saw this ghostly figure. My friend had his phone out so he quickly took a picture as this figure stood there for a few moments. To me it looks like the guy had been hung and is wearing a stripped shirt with a black bowtie.

Here is a picture of Christmas Eve really late, in Kankakee, Illinois, USA. This was my cousin's house that looked nicely decorated so I took a picture. There were others with me, but not in front of the camera. 35 mm camera with Kodak 200 film." I dont know how this figure is appear in fornt of camera. Well i think it appears a ghost visiting on Christmas Eve.

This picture was taken on a digital camera of an abandoned house on my great aunt's property in Pikeville, KY. The house has been vacant for 20 years, and the last tenant was a man who died in the house.

This photo was taken on a hot, sunny, nearly cloudless summer day, and when I uploaded the photo to my computer, I was shocked to see what looks like a man's face in the right window! Several other people have seen the photo and saw the same thing I did. It does not appear to any of us to be a reflection of the tree outside the window, but we could be wrong. Decide for yourself! My Name is Rhonda, I am including a picture that has been in our family for a few years now. First of all, this photo is NOT a fake, it was taken with a disposable camera about 4yrs ago, and was scanned (as you can tell). The story behind it is the photo belongs to my cousin Jeremiah. He had always dabbled in the occult, Ouija boards, etc. He and his wife moved into a new apartment and wanted to take some photos.

While winding the disposable camera, his wife Jennifer accidentally snapped a pic. (she said she was sitting on the couch, winding the film) She continued to take photos of the apartment. When she got the pictures back. This is the first picture on the roll. Needless to say, it freaked them out quite a bit. I personally think it looks like a demon.. slits for a nose, gray eyes. but I want someone else's opinion. I have submitted it to a few paranormal researchers and they concur that it most definitely does not look human. Any input/thoughts would be appreciated!

My husband and I are just down the road from this abandoned farm, which is across from Shahan Cemetery, one of the older ones around here. We habituate our bunnies in the area before they are returned to the wild. We had finished putting out food for them last October and were taking pics of the bunnies and their new spot. I was categorizing our pics the other day and noticed an odd spot to the left. When I zoomed in, we were both shocked. This is in OK, taken with a Fuji digital video cam as a still shot. I've included the pic, with a zoom in on the area. There were no filters or other changes made. Weather was beautiful. It would seem to be a supernatural being in the shot. says sender.

This photo was taken in the late afternoon of Saturday November 25th, when the Central Illinois Ghost Investigators took a trip to the famous Bachelor's Grove Cemetery in Chicago Illinois.

One of my regular visitor send me these photographs. He said, I appear to have a very strange and unique door. There is a figure of a person in the door. We don't know what to call it...the Virgin Mary, the Grimm Reaper, Jesus, a demon, an angel, ghost, paranormal, spirit or what. I was wondering if you might have any information you could provide me with? Even if it's a person to contact. The image is very clear right down to the eyes...and even the pupils. It's quite different. The image is on the front side and backside of the door. I am including a couple of pictures for you to look at. I have more if you'd like, and I still have the door to take more if needed. The image does not go away.

This is a picture of Winchester Mystery House in San Jose Ca .You can see a small figure at the bottom right corner in the mirror that looks like a bald creature sitting in the corner of a SMALLER ROOM on a chair with its head leaning against the head rest. The chair also looks like its in front of a window or a door. I cropped a smaller portion off of just the mirror to get a better look of this and circled it in green.

Emma writes, I took this eerie photo on my phone at Hull's £53million attraction The Deep. Boffins at the aquarium admit they are baffled by the appearance of the man's face, which appears to be gawping up at a shark.

I only spotted the ghoulish face when I arrived home. My boyfriend said, 'what's that?' I replied, 'it's a shark'. "He said, 'no, the face.' I was like, oh my Gosh! It actually looks quite spooky. "I'm easily freaked-out." Although my dad, 48, was standing next to me in the glass tunnel, he looks nothing like the man in the photo. Bosses have spent hours searching CCTV footage, which confirmed the the two of us were the only ones inside the tunnel. And they have even tried to recreate conditions in the tunnel where the reflection could appear, but with no success.

The aquarium - on the banks of the Humber estuary - was built on the site of an isolation hospital, where smallpox victims were held. It's not the first time ghostly goings-on have been reported. A night watchman claims to have spotted a shadowy figure in the TimeLine, which charts the history of the world's oceans. Colin Brown, chief executive of The Deep, said: "We are a scientific centre and we're sure there must be a logical explanation. "It's just that we can't find it."

These photos were send by Angela. Angela said, My brother and sister in law were camping at an annual festival that they attend every year outside of Houston. My sister-in-law snapped a photo of her brother and and his girlfriend by the community bonfire....and this is what the smoke formed.

You can see a face formed within the smoke. Was it formed supernaturally? Is there a message being given? Or just a strange coincidence? May be it's a real Ghost Face, who want to show us his activity.
